Job Summary:

The Senior Human Resource Representative will assist the Director of Human Resources with complex and specialized tasks including sourcing and reviewing job applications from prospective employees, interviewing candidates, managing and overseeing HR records, and generating reports to monitor the overall efficiency of the HR Department’s recruiting and retention efforts.



Duties/Responsibilities

  • Source and interview candidates for all open positions.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System by maintaining accurate records of active job postings, applications received, interviews conducted, offers extended, and accepted job offers.
  • Research, recommend, and implement passive candidate sourcing techniques (i.e AI).
  • Manage and improve College and University career fairs/relations/recruiting.
  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate an efficient new hire onboarding process by coordinating with company departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, such as 401k, health, dental, and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as contact information, performance reviews, benefits, and other key details.
  • Work with the Director of Human Resources on employee retention initiatives, best practices, and systems/tools to enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Plan and support company-wide meetings, such as the annual holiday party and social outings.
  • Conduct or assist with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include annual census reporting, I-9 audits, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 3 to 5 years of HR experience. Bachelor degree in HR a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong systems skills and/or ability to pick up new systems with ease.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
