For Second Time in Two Years, iCorps Technologies is Awarded Mass High Tech’s “New England TechCitizenship Award” for Their Charitable Giving and Philanthropic efforts.

 Boston, MA – (January 17, 2006) iCorps Technologies today announces that it has received Mass High Tech’s New England
TechCitizenship Award for the second time in two years. This award recognizes technology companies who demonstrate charitable giving and philanthropic efforts that are supported and encouraged at a corporate level by their organization.
The recipients of the 2005 New England Tech Citizenship award present solid examples of how and why these companies give back to the community – whether that community includes like-minded individuals, local schools and parks, or victims of natural disasters around the world.
“This year’s TechCitizenship honorees illustrate yet again that giving back to the community is simply good business,” said Douglas Banks, editor of Mass High Tech. “From in-kind product and service donations to all kinds of volunteer efforts, this year’s Tech Citizens continue to raise the bar among their peers.”
iCorps provides technology services to nonprofit foundations that need technology to run, but do not have the resources to fund this need. Included in the company’s charitable activities is the donation of Web design, Web hosting, computer support and other IT related services to organizations like Peace@home, Summer Search, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Diploma Plus program and the Greater Boston Food Bank.
“This award is truly an accomplishment and an honor that we are all proud of,” says iCorps Technologies’ President, Mike Hadley. “We built philanthropic activities into our core mission statement from the get-go and, over the past eleven years, it has become much more than a stated mission.
