iCorps Technologies Awarded Microsoft New England Award for Satisfaction and Experience
November 4, 2005 by iCorps Technologies

BOSTON, MA (November 4, 2005) - iCorps Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of outsourced IT services for small and midsize businesses, announced today that Microsoft New England has honored them with the “Microsoft New England Partner Quarterly Award” in the category of Satisfaction and Experience.

Each quarter, this award recognizes a partner who has provided exceptional customer satisfaction with Microsoft through outreach and participation across a range of customer focused activities.

“Since our inception, it has been part of our corporate mission to help our customers achieve their business objectives by delivering and supporting practical, cost-effective IT services,” said Michael Hadley, CEO and co-founder of iCorps Technologies. “It is an honor to be recognized by Microsoft and this award reinforces our position as the leader in customer satisfaction and excellence in the small and midsize market.”

iCorps worked with a packaging and supply company based in Greater Boston. This small organization was facing aging, outdated servers and workstations that were causing crashes, general network instability, loss of productivity and mounting IT support costs. The firm is in a highly competitive market with extremely tight cost pressures, so making major IT investments was not an option. Working with Microsoft, iCorps designed an approach that involved implementing a new Exchange Server® and a Terminal Server®, upgrading to Windows Server® 2003 and Exchange® 2003 and migrating from the use of Windows® 98 on the desktops to Terminal Services for all users and all applications--as opposed to replacing all workstations. The solution has significantly reduced support costs and their network is much more stable, secure and manageable.

“Our team realizes the value of our partners and believes these organizations should be acknowledged for their great contributions and achievements over the past quarter,” said Brian Neirby, New England Area general manager for Microsoft’s Small to Midmarket Solutions and Partner Group. “As a company, we’re proud of the great relationships we’ve established with our partners and think it’s important to recognize those that performed exceptionally.”

Christopher Stephenson, Vice President and Co-founder of iCorps Technologies accepted the award at a special awards luncheon at Microsoft’s New England Executive Briefing Center.
